Starting a new process can be discouraging.  Here is a sample of the ones that didn't make it.

Project 2

Here are the porcelain boards after I applied wood stain.  The treatment made the pieces look really convincing. 

After they were stained I gave them a few coats of shellac.  Everything looks better shiny.
